DevOps — How to Excel as a Technical Team Leader
In the fast-paced world of technology, the role of a team leader is vital for ensuring the success of projects and the growth of team members. For DevOps teams, where collaboration and efficiency are paramount, the role of a technical team leader becomes even more crucial.
As a technical TL (Team Leader), in addition to possessing technical skills, one will inevitably encounter numerous challenges and difficulties in team management. How should one define and clarify the team’s goals? What steps can be taken to establish an excellent engineering culture? What is the core to enabling the team to sustain its combat effectiveness and innovation capability in the long run?
Drawing from few years of team management experience, I will share my reflections and insights on recruiting, goal management, team communication, and engineering culture in this article.
