It is well known that Netflix is the industry’s best practitioner of microservice architecture. Its design of microservices based on the public cloud, continuous delivery, monitoring, and stability assurance have provided the industry with numerous principles and practical experiences to follow.
Netflix introduced certain concepts early and put them into practice, so much so that many other internet companies’ technical architectures also show familiar traces. Netflix Operations Status
To be precise, Netflix does not have traditional operations positions. Instead, the role that corresponds to operations is what we know as SRE (Site Reliability Engineer).
